Most all of us possess a sense of being the object of someone's eyes. There are times when this sense helps us seek a more public place to keep out of harm's way while in other instances, being the object of someone's vision is not at all disturbing. Recently, while shopping in an upbeat area where dollars rule, I was lingering about, enjoying the landscaping of the various commecial establishments when I felt the strong sense that someone was watching me. From the corners of my eye (or the corner of my eyes) I spied a gorgeous blonde keeping her eyes locked on my presence. Visions of romances long ago rushed through my mind; my pulse increased and I turned to meet her gaze. It was a scene that could have been filmed a few years ago when running couples dotted the meadows and ended in a strong embrace. But it was not to be. No, it was only an illusion, not even so much as two ships passing in the night. But for a moment in time, I felt a surge of youth that was pleasant...
